I suffer with COPD and currently suffering an exacebation and it is worse than usual. I have been scanned ,all clear, and also clear of Covid Not coughing up the usual green stuff and have a dull pain between my soulder blades. The dctor has put me on Amoxiclav antibiotics. Does anyone have any clues on this.

Exacerbations do happen from time to time. Your provider will usually prescribe antibiotics as well as an oral steroid such as prednisone. It is helpful to create an action plan with your doctor so you can alert his office as soon as symptoms begin to be present. This can help avoid hospitalizations...for as you know these things can come on quickly.

I have free wheeling on the antibiotics and the methlprednisolone. I know when i need. Do not use the antibiotic unless i think might be getting infection. On oxy 24 hrs now. My leash, it sucks. I keep smiling. I do find exercise is a plus.....
