. Hi all . Does anyone have useful things to try for constant pain in the chest . Have been checked out , and told it copd , and nothing else . Am trying the usual pain killers , but thought there may be something else that would help . I know there is a lot of useful knowledge out there . 🤗

What kind of pain is it? Is it a burning or a sharp stabbing pain, or a tightness or feeling of pressure?

Hi jackup . Thanks for replying, it's a sharp pain that comes when I move around, takes my breath away , so to say. Ibuprofen is easing it a little . I just wondered if there were any home remedies that people have tried . I know it's not unusual to get pain with copd . Take care . 🤗

Hello I was just prescribed Morphine for use with my chest pain and more importantly my shortness of breath.

Thank you for your reply .vmrdoug . My chest pain is a lot better after several days on ibuprofen, but my shortness of breath is just as bad . They all say it's copd , get used to it . Not really much help . Keep smiling. 🤔

I know that I will mostly die from COPD but No-one can say 6 months- 6 years ?? But I am and will keep trying to have an optimistic outlook.

Bluenotes it has been 2 weeks on the morphine and I said I would report. The results are very good not where I want them to be but much better and confident that I will reach my objectives. So talk with your Dr. and try 🙏
