Thanks for the info. I had wondered what may be causing the pain. I have the same problem. I do what you do lean into the pain till it stops.

Sorry you are having trouble. Doctor may need to adjust to another inhaler. It is a careful balance to see what works and when. I suggest keeping a daily diary of what you day is like breathing wise and what you ate, what the weather (humidity) was like and what your activity level was. This will help spot your triggers and let you see a pattern. My husband has trouble in hot humid weather, not cold snowy weather. This may change over time, but we know the hot humid is worse right now.

Work with your Dr. and if you feel they aren't listening, try another. You need to get the right balance of advice, and medicine.

Hello,Twirly71, happy you will be seeing your doctor soon. If you are taking the right meds it should not make you worse, hopefully he will put you on different inhalers. I use Spiriva Respamat once a day and Seravant twice. Rescue inhaler and oxygen at night or when needed. This all works good for me. As far as pain in rib area, my understanding this goes along with COPD. Well of course loosing weight is good for us but not everyone can accomplish this. Just do the best you can. Will be anxious to hear what your doctor does for you. If he has no answered, would it be possible to change docs? Good luck and God Bless.

I take 2 puffs of symbicort in the morning and 1 hit of the anoro at night and that seems to be helping me.. Go easy on your husband people who don't have it have no idea what it's like. Good luck
