hello, i have recently had my appendix removed with keyhole surgery and sent home... since being home i have realised i’m bleeding very heavily from behind when i pass stool and today realised there was blood clots in the pan and the tissue, i’m also in a lot of pain with my stomach and my back
the past 2 days i’ve been to the hospital and they’ve sent me home with 2 different medications so i now refuse to go to the hospital. has anyone else had anything like this or have any advice they could give me... thank you

Hi, I had an appendix removal around the end of last year and a few months later began getting stomach pain/bleeding with stools etc. Mine turned out to be IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) - perhaps ask if they can do a stool sample to test for infections or inflammation?
Hey .can I ask . Did u develop diarrhoea with this too. I've been havin bleeding for a while now and this week. Tummy pain and diarrhoea.. with blood too. It's not mixed in with it just follows after . Did they discover it through stool sample or colonoscopy. Thanks
Yes diarrhea, and often passing nothing but blood and mucus. My blood tests were normal but my stool showed high inflammation and then I had a flexible sigmoidoscopy as it was too inflamed to look fully.
How long did u have the bleeding go on for before u got checked. Was it bright red or mixed and sorry last question was it colitis or chrones diagnosed..I've been havin small amounts of blood on and off for months but of recent its flared big time with blood ..mucus and diarrhoea... docs friday but its put up with it all week
I had bleeding every day for a month whilst I was trying to get diagnosed, had a lot of urgency and pain too. Bright red or dark red and sometimes mixed with the stool, sometimes on its own. I was diagnosed with Colitis. Hope you get sorted soon, I know how worrying it can be.
Honestly ive had enough. I worry I'm becoming anemic because of it. Did that show in your bloods?? I thinking colitis. My stress and anxiety I dont think helps anything.
