Greeting all!

I am at home recovering from my surgery. I just wanted to update you so far. I went into the hospital on Friday 10/21 for the removal of my sigmoid colon. It was done robotically and I was out of the hospital by Sunday 10/23 by noon; only because I was passing all their milestones and I was so excited to be at home and sleep in m own bed! I was told the surgery took approxiately 3.5 hrs.

Post op appt is in 2 weeks and I am sure that he will go everything.

Awesome update Txbj1. That is great news🙌 So glad everything went well and you were outta there in record time. Robotically performed surgery😮 sounds pretty interesting. I hear that makes the surgeon far more effective and precise and everything I read says there is a shorter recovery time for the patient and you are definitely proof of that. That is great. You relax and recover and get ready for the post op appt.🧡🤟👍🤕

btw .. .. I spent 8 days in the hospital after my partial colectomy surgery and lost 44 lbs. It took me awhile for me to meet the criteria to get out of there 😁😲👍
