Good morning! Thankful for finding this site when my sister was diagnosed. I went for my first colonoscopy yesterday at 56. So much easier than I ever imagined. I had 2 polyps-one very small which my doc assured me was nothing and a 2cm Sessile. He could not resect the bigger one because of location and will be referring me to a specialist to remove. He assured me it didn’t look cancerous but when you read about this type of polyp, it scares you. He took biopsies and I see him next Monday. Does anyone have any experience with this type of polyp? EMR resection? Thank you!

Hi Doglover88,
Thanks for posting on Colon Cancer Connected. I have not had experience with this type of polyp. I am glad to see you are catching this early and will be taking care of it with another procedure by a specialist.
I do wish you the best in getting the good results Monday and with your next procedure. Maybe someone on this site will have some first hand experience with something similar, but realize it wouldn't have anything to do with your personal situation. I'm just glad to see you are having this taken care of.
Thank You,
~Tom, GCCA Survivor - Colon Cancer Connected Site Administrator.
