Hello, I'm new here.
I have had a positive bowel sample check, 15ug/u, it said abnormal. I'm so scared it's cancer, and I feel its all my fault.

Hi eloise14533,
Thank you for posting in Colon Cancer Connected. I hate to see you have some anxiety concerning your test results. Given that, you are probably being scheduled for some further tests to find some answers for you. Your doctor will take care of that. There are so many things that could be causing this that is not cancer. You are doing the right things in going to you doctor and getting more information as to what's going on.
Please don't blame yourself for things like this. Not doing anything about it would be a reason to blame yourself. But for you, finding out what's causing this and getting some answers to deal with it should be your focus. Do you have another appointment to talk with your doctor setup?
Please focus on getting answers. Be strong. Get that done. We wish you the very best. Please keep us up to date on what you find out.
BTW ... my mom's name is Eloise. 👍
Thank You,

Mine was 143 and I did not have cancer. I have a couple of things but nothing too awful. Do not worry. No doubt you will be referred for a colonoscopy. Best of luck.
My last one was up in the 100s but no cancer, I have UC so that would be why, there are other reasons for raised results.
