Colonoscopy done.

Nothing alarming was found except something like a abrasion (sorry, I don't know the exact english word) in my sigmoid colon. Findings said "non-specific proctocolitis" but the gastro got a biopsy from the abrasion and waiting for the results next week.

Since nothing sinister was found, I'm now baffled. What could be the reason for my irregular stools and other symptoms? I'll probably know once the biopsy results are out, right?

And by the way, my lower abdomen kinda hurts, I'm wondering if it is because of the colonoscopy? The nurse did tell me it's normal to have abdominal pain but my brain...:"))

Pain can be because of the air that is blown into your bowel too . I wish you lots of luck with your diagnosis. I suffer terribly with my bowel complications snd it can really lower your mood .
