I have had blood in my stool for the past 2 to 2 and a half months every time I use the bathroom to the point where blood is all I see. I have crohns but no medication has helped and I’m off to see the colon surgeon in 2 weeks but they still have no answers for why I’ve had so much pain and so much blood and mucus.

Dear healthquestions123 ,
Thank you for posting, I'm sorry you are having so much pain, bleeding and mucus.
That is good news that you'll be seeing the colon surgeon in 2 weeks.
Have you checked out this group on Health Unlocked? healthunlocked.com/crohns-c...
One question I would suggest you ask the surgeon, is what are you supposed to do when you are having bleeding as you are now? Do you make an urgent appointment to see them? Go to the ER? Find out exactly what they want you to in the future.
Also, we're big fans of getting a second, or even a third opinion. I hope they'll be able to determine how to stop the bleeding and bring down your pain level.
Please keep us posted.

hey, do you have any updates?
Told that my crohns is considered by the Mayo Clinic a level three (severe) and trying any and all medication to get it to go down. It is mostly in my colon and it looks like ulcerative colitis but I have had it in my small intestine and stomach, biopsies when I was diagnosed showed crohns, weird! Since I haven’t responded to any crohns meds we are trying UC meds now, only one left I haven’t tried… fingers crossed it works..
