Hi since Sunday night i have been bleeding from my back passage bright red sometimes dark lumps I’ve been to the hospital and I have piles on the outside of my anus. I don’t think this is where the bloods coming from as I’m getting pain in my lower left stomach area sharp pains that aren’t going away. Should I go back to hospital and ask for a emergency colonoscopy?

Hi, you should definitely ask for a colonoscopy it’s the best way to your answers. When you went to the ER what did they do? Any X-rays or Ct scans?? I hope you are doing better.
Also how old are you? And any chances you could be pregnant? Since you are not sure where’s the blood coming from. But I’ll assume since you went to the hospital they checked for any signs of pregnancy.
Hi JamieT2020 ,Thanks for posting and I'm sorry about what you are experiencing!
Your best bet (particularly with COVID) is to see a gastroenterologist for a colonoscopy. Going to the ER won't typically get you an emergency colonoscopy unless there's a pain level at a 10 (and they suspect something like a bowel obstruction, etc.)
Since you have experienced rectal bleeding, it is important that you get a specialist instead of going to the ER (unless of course an emergency) so that they can follow you and track your health over the years.
If the pain becomes unbearable you need to go to the ER, otherwise, my suggestion is to get a specialist (gastroenterologist) to take you on as a patient and determine what is going on that you are experiencing rectal bleeding and pain.
We are here for you and hoping for the best. Please keep us posted!
