Really worried I have colon cancer, please someone help me. I just remembered someone that happened like 5 years ago in the summer, I had red poop, but I think it was burning from eating something spicy, a month or two later I had bad back pain for about 2 weeks and went away from that point on. My only problem now is my change in bowel movements sometimes, everytime I think of colon cancer my stomach starts churning. But no other symptoms besides those, and I'm only 19 and this happened when I was about 13. Is this colon cancer? please someone respond back, it's taking over my life.

Is this colon cancer?
No , very unlikely you haven’t got all the symptoms for cancer, plus your way too young. But if you want to ease your mind get a colonoscopy. The symptoms for colon cancer are fatigue, can’t empty your bowels properly, blood on the stools, stomach pain, thin stools. Loss of weight, sometimes you have to go to the toilet 6or 7 times a day. You have nothing to worry about but get a colonoscopy just so you’ll know everything is fine. Good luck
Yeah it just every now and then my bowels act weird, but I had one more question, is a pulsating anus normal also, this is another problem. Everytime I think of colon cancer, my stomach starts feeling weird and my bowel patterns get weird. Am I just overthinking that too or are these symptoms on colon cancer?
There not the symptoms I had with colon cancer I think you are stressed out or else you probably have i b s
Oh alright, sorry for the weird questions, I just have really bad anxiety and I look back on stuff that happened in the past. Thank you so much for your responses. I hope you beat colon cancer and I wish you the best.
Thank you, I have already beaten the cancer and I’m totally cured
Shit I just remembered something else that happened a few months ago, I had a dark stool, like black and it was loose. Is this colon cancer?
Hi Mylifesucks19 ,
Thanks for posting and I'm sorry to read about all the anxiety you are experiencing around your digestive issues.
There are a number of reasons why you could be experiencing these symptoms, many of them are treatable with medication or lifestyle/diet changes.
Anxiety directly affects our gastrointestinal system, so, unfortunately, the more anxious you get, the more issues you may experience with pain and other changes in bowel habits.
It is definitely worth it to seek out a specialist and get checked out. This will give you peace of mind.
Please keep us posted, we're here for you.
