So I have no insurance and I am not able to get Medicare... BUT I have been having Heath issues. So my stomach had a bug that was H pilory. Now I am constipated and I poop thin stools...
Never blood etc. I just feel like I have something stuck. But can’t go...
What are the warning sides that I should get a colonoscopy?
In the past I’ve had tummy aches that my doctor says it was H pilory... I am almost done with my two week meds but now I have been feeling constipated... no pain but in the past it felt a pain as of my poop hole was going to rapture or that it had something pushing?

Skinny stools is what tipped me off. I always got up , had 3 coffees and pooped once every morning. Never ate breakfast all my life. But then for at least two months I was pooping 5 times each morning and the stools were pencil thin. No blood or pain at all. So I did what they always say not to do ie self diagnosis. I Googled and found that one possible cause of thin stools could be blockage from a colon cancer tumour. Bingo! My dad and his brother both had it. So I got a colonoscopy ASAP and found a big tumour. Fortunately I live in Canada so insuance was not an issue. The Doc referred me for an emergency colonoscopy so I may have waited a month. Mine was growing quickly towards my anus. I belive the operation was another month after the diagnosis. Not to sound alarming but I would see a doctor right away.
I’m so sorry you had to go through that and I hope you are ok. It has scared me even more. I have had thinner stools since September. There has been the odd occasion they were an inch so trying to tell myself if there was a blockage then they wouldn’t go bigger and smaller. How thin are you talking like a pencil width? I know mine aren’t as thick as they used to be. I remember going ok 2/3 times a day and stools bulky but then I was taking extra vitamin C every hour and also these fruit and vegetables shakes and on the third occasion I strained so much and then the next day I had thinner stools. I keep trying to push the doctor but they aren’t having any of it so I’m going to move doctors. My doctor said I had an ultrasound in September and they would have saw shadows. They did examine what they could and I do have a few skin tags but other than that it was normal. I also had a colonoscopy 2 years ago and nothing was found. But obviously that’s a long time ago. I’m just so scared and worried. I have been in constant contact with my doctor and they just think IBS and anxiety.
I haven't been here for a while and am seeing some older posts. Just wondering how you made out. In my case my bathroom habits are much different than in my previous life. Everything is OK but I can go up to 10 times per day because eI don't have a rectum.
On the lousy side, now I may have prostate cancer and had an MRI yesterday. Back on the good side, I weigh 67 pounds liess than at my all time ehigh. So my weight is back to where oit was 45 years ago. I walk 2 miles every night (oncologists orders) and feel great
