Hello! I am from Argentina. I have been taking CLL since 2007 and have been taking ibrutinib since 2017. At first I took 3 pills, and for the last year I have taken just one pill. My tests are fine. For 6 months I have had a cough that is dry at first but then always with phlegm. I have never had a fever and the CT scan is fine, just a little bronchistasis. I have a Zenker's diverticulum at the entrance to the esophagus, but I am confused and worried. Any suggestions?

Hi I finished treatment last October and have had a cough ever since . My immunoglobulins are low but I don’t qualify for an infusion as I am getting insufficient infections. I am on Doxycycline every day to ward off infection. Doesn’t help the cough at all . Occasionally when it gets too bad I’m given Amoxicillin then back onto Doxycycline.sorry it’s no help but let’s you know you aren’t alone .
Had same issue…cough was due to bronchiestasis. Started breathing treatments daily with albuterol and sodium chloride solution 7% and cough has gone away.
This helps the bronchiestasis not to get worst.
Good luck!
Did they check the phlegm sample for viruses and bacteria?
