That used to be normal with LLC and treatment with Ibrutinib?

Foliculitis in legs
WTH 😳
WHAT?
This is the only skin issues I’ve experienced due to low platelets…
I have not low platelet.s Always between 135 and 155. This i not The cause in my case. I haven' t hemathoma. That is an infection. Do you mean? How many platelets did you have?
My Plts were 105 for the majority of my 13y 8mos of W&W. Plts were 76 when I started treatment April 2023 & now 109 was the highest I reached. Hgb 12.6 WBC 9.44 ANC 2.03
I got Pneumonia though & was in the Emergency Room 3X the first 3 months & my Quacks would not order me antibiotics. I had to go outside of 2 Oncologist & 2 Pulmonologist. Its still bizarre to me that they had the audacity to tell me about the harms of antibiotic but now what to order everything under the sun. I haven’t been sick since & they keep trying to push IVIG. Are you receiving IVIG?
I do have dark discoloration around my knuckles & pink discoloration between my breast. My first Dermatologist appt is April 8th & I can’t wait…
No. I am not receiving IVIG... Doctor Spoke about Evusheld but other Dr told me isnt necessary . I received antibodies when I had COVID. That and the antibiotics saved my life. They also withdrew Ibrutinib in the process. The doctors saved me. Very grateful for it.
I had monoclonal antibodies too, definitely a lifesaver 🙌🏾
Externally or internally?
I had the Monoclonal Antibodies Intravenously at NYU such a Lifesaving Therapy. I was sure that Covid Pneumonia was going to kill me. I experienced a Cytokine Storm of Mass Proportions. That is why I know every cell of my body is strong regardless to this arthritic shell of a person you may see lol. I have always seen the Hulk inside of me. So yeah my body turned up my internal temp to 103.8 that would not break with antibiotics by mouth or Tylenol. My Lungs & Diaphragm was dealing with Massive Mucous Production. I was drinking water like a Race Horse but nothing would work until I talked to GOD. Once HE set me straight I knew that Covid would not kill me & I am only here today because of GOD Almighty 🤩
Only on the legs? You didn't have these before Ibrutinib? How is your neutrophils count and CRP?
Looks like the lower half of the shin, lower leg. This is not a great place to have infection of any kind. Folliculitis typically caused by Staphylococcus and spread by scratching.
Definitely see your Family Dr about this! Soon.

Hi Denisguay,
I've had CLL since last century, I had some chemo back then and had my spleen removed. I've been pretty normal since but started having skin eruptions like yours a couple of years ago. Severe itching saw me in cold showers during the night. It seems to be UV exposure that brings it on, at least for me, so wide brimmed hats, long sleeves and trousers through the summer and lashings of SPF 50+ .
This regime gave me an ok summer last year. Best of luck.
