Zoe personalised health programme

I'm wondering if anyone in this group has signed up for this? I'd be interested to hear if people feel it's worth the cost - £299 initially plus 1, 4 or 12 monthly follow up subscription. I'm not on any active treatment (in remission).

This site's 3 CLL Specialist talk of personalizing CLL treatments. I'd follow them, but I don't know Zoe or what she has to do with it.---Is that a "story" on HealthUnlocked site that give Zoe's story and if it is similar to this linked confab that would make it acceptable.

The difference in the to applications would only be it the medications that may not be available in either countrys.

Zoe is an app that was started during the start of Covid by Professor Tim Spectre an epidemiologist. It seemed to accurately show early symptoms. It originally received funding by the UKHSA but when it was withdrawn they looked for alternative funding. Tim Spectre has written several books about our diet. And that is what the post was referring to, a specific diet for each person.

That is my take on this, and happy to be corrected.

Yes, you're correct. The company is called Zoe and is now offering tests on an individual's microbiome amongst other things. This is used to recommend foods that are beneficial (or not) based on individual results. This is probably an over simplification but I hope gives the idea!

I think you better keep the money and instead read this book: METABOLICAL by Robert Lustig. In it there is everything you need to know about diets. Follow the guidelines in it and you will soon become a gut flora donor 😁

Colette, Thank for the information. I had no idea who/what Zoe was/is--and for whatever reason the 2 tries I made to post a site, and which showed as I copy/pasted, did not appear.

Thanks.

Some of Tim Spectre’s online zooms are very interesting, well worth watching. His food advice is excellent, and note to myself to try to like fermented foods.

Thanks yes I did briefly read through the information because my neighbour was thinking of joining, especially when it had a waiting list. It seems quite a lot of money and maybe just watching some of the YouTube’s would be a good start. Trying to count the 30 different plants is challenging enough, but I am sure we all eat more than we realise.

Do let us know if you do join.
