First day I am feeling well after, Calquence

I have been on Calquence for 54 days. This has been a journey, for me. I am happy I took a leave from work for three months. I had several side effects, headaches, loud ringing in my ears, and I had severe muscle pain, and had a hard time walking. Some days I cried, but its is better to take a pill then Chemo. Then I caught a virus it lasted for three weeks. Today, I have to say I am feeling better. I even took a 13 min. walk. I do have anemia, which have contributed to some of these side effects. I am hoping I can return to work on Dec. 27.

Sorry to hear about the side effects. That is a little scary. I am supposed to start on calquence, but my insurance policy denied the claim my doctor sent in. I am trying to figure out how to find a (medicare part D) insurance company and help to pay for this drug.

Was your medication covered?

call Astra Zeneca directly. They have a program to cover the cost of co-pay so maybe they will cover full cost if your insurance denies. (844) 275-2360 Cannot hurt to call and ask! Good luck and let us know how it goes!
