But my main question was different: is it true that during pneumonia, Calquence should be suspended?

I am supposed to get a pet scan this week and then start calquence. I am normally a very active person and am wondering what my tolerance to physical activity may be. Also looking on internet it appears this is an extremely expensive drug.

Do others have Calquence experiences?

Because I have a genetic defect in my liver CYP2C9 - Pharmacist checked to make sure my liver could handle Calquence and all was good. So they started me on 100 mg - one X a day. Other than unmutated all other markers are good.

Seems weird that I have to stop Calquence if I take Paxlovid orally but not intravenously...but what do I know!

Hello, My dad started 100mg/daily of Calquence for manle cell lymphoma on September 9, 2024- a smaller dose because of his age, and high risk status. He has lost a lot of weight and is always tired.

At full dosage there is 14 days of Brukinsa and 45 days of CalQuence....

I have had CLL in w&w status for 18 months but with continued weight loss doctor started me on Calquence 6 weeks ago. No weight gain as yet. Does anyone have experience with gaining back wanted weight with CLL?

I know that one of the drawbacks of Calquence is tiredness so I wonder if it’s just the drug affecting him now?

A month ago, I went to get a haircut and noticed a bald spot. I didn’t think much of it and assumed it was just a bad haircut. But weeks later, I realized the patch was growing. I went to the dermatologist, who diagnosed it as alopecia areata. I received a shot, and I think the hair is regrowing,

Any help/knowledge/insight from anyone on their or others experience, they know of, who developed new cancers on calquence? Infections on venetoclax? Risk percentages? Bless you all.

Been told from pharmacist that is has lower risk for heart issues/atrial fibrillation than calquence but higher secondary cancer risks. Can anybody verify/share more?

I’ve been on Calquence for several months now - all good there, but I struggle more with actually getting it delivered when scheduled and working with “coupons” to cover co-payment. It’s so confusing as McKesson and the support organizations give information out one piece at a time.

Since I am taking Calquence, would anyone know if I should stop prior? I will obviously ask my doctor, but this forum is very useful too. Thank you. Neil

spleen has stopped shrinking now though..hes been on calquence less than a year The problem is the lung nodules are still growing baffling the consultants as the calquence is working elsewhere another top consultant is being contacted via the consultant he already has for opinions but we were told

Coming off calquence after 3 Years every thing was good I was told I was in remison . The reason I came off was a pain in the middle of my chest felt like I was being stuck with a knife. I spent 2 days in the er they ran every test that they could run and everything was good normal.

Omeprazole made it worse, only Gaviscon extra helps but my CNS says not to take with Calquence. Until I have a gastro app I don't know what to do, it's making me really miserable. Any ideas?

If you go to calquence dot com it says to store at 66 to 77 degrees f.

My doctor put me on Calquence. I take only 1 a day because 2 was giving me headaches. So far I’m doing really well on this. She put me on this because she said it has the fewest side affects. My problem is the cost. I can’t afford to pay the a co-pay of $2,000+ a month.
