Post Covid symptoms, I'm vaccinated and boosted , Pfzier, 68 y/o male diagnosesd with CLL 12 mo ago, routine blood work, lymphocyte count fluctuate 44K-65K. have developed what appears to be bronchitis and having a hard time getting past these symptoms, no fever just dry almost convulsive cough, and extreme fatigue. question is , are these symptoms potentially exacerbated by my CLL? Treatment, medication??? I'm in an observation mode with CLL, no treatment at this time.

Post Covid
I *probably* had COVID around December 2021. I was vaccinated, and got COVID around the same time as I had my third vaccination.
I had an antigen test which did not confirm COVID, but on the other hand, it was around Omicront variant wave in my country - antigen tests were routinely not showing the infection.
My two other friends (no CLL) around that time also had COVID - antigen test was negative, PCR test was positive. I did not make the PCR test.
Anyway, since then, I have cough. No fever, just a dry, unproductive cough. Very annoying. Four months already!
A colleague of mine (without CLL or any other chronic diseases), vaccinated, before third vaccination, also had COVID, recovered over a month ago, but is still coughing.
What makes my symptoms worse is cold (in sense, low temperature) - drinking cold water brings cough, breathing cold air brings cough. Sipping warm tea seems to help. So happy spring is finally coming!
I wouldn't say I have extreme fatigue because of that cough (it's surely not anything pleasant), but on the other hand, my stomach muscles will soon get quite athletic because of coughing!
Can I suggest you get an x ray. My husband 75 years of age and 3 years w & w CLL developed similar cough three weeks post phyzer booster. We were spending winter abroad and two different doctors prescribed antibiotics. After 7 weeks and the cough not improving but changing to produce clear sticky mucus and breathlessness we returned to U.K. where he was immediately admitted to hospital The tests carried out revealed he had fluid on lungs. Also some pleural Plaque and thickening (possibly from shorttime working in shipbuilding 50 years ago. He is going back into hospital on Tuesday to have lung drained (only left lung affected) and a biopsy carried out). To me it’s seems this sleeping dog ( pleural plaquehas awakened following vaccine) or maybe he had covid and didn’t know . His haematology consultant feels it is very unlikely to be related to his CLL.
