I recently started Ibrutinib on July 14th at 420 mg per day. The good news is all of my previously visible lymph nodes have disappeared. The bad news is on a routine urine test it was determined that there was erythrocytes in my urine and it indicated a significant amount (20-50). I have also had my BP rise from 115/70 to 140/70. Has anyone else experienced these symptoms?

While I do have some minor experiences with Erythrocytes (aka red blood cells) in urine- there are some similar issues in past posts that you can view in the box on this page labeled Related Posts
I have no medical training, and I hope your Canadian doctors can help you understand the significance of this change.
I would guess that the effect on your body from Ibrutinb cleaning out your nodes and spleen is forcing those many CLL cells into your blood stream where they should begin dying steadily over time. Those changes in the blood may be impacting your kidneys, and I trust your doctors are monitoring all the tests that indicate the health of your liver and kidneys.

I see this is your first post after joining us Sept 2019- you have included your historical information in your previous responses:
"I have had no treatment for CLL but I am taking IVIG infusions monthly
Yes I have an enlarged spleen and numerous enlarged lymph nodes in the neck area and under the arm pits
I am going on 12 years watch and wait with no treatments yet. 11q deleted unmutated with a current wbc of 200 and numerous enlarged lymph nodes. So far energy level is fine with no night sweats.
I am also Canadian and very close to needing treatment."
