“I’ve just submitted a hypothesis paper to The Lancet calling for an urgent multicenter prospective randomized controlled trial of arginine and citrulline supplementation for the purposes of pre- and post-exposure prophylaxis against the "novel coronavirus" (SARS-CoV-2). Whether or not that gets accepted, let alone, implemented, however, I feel compelled to put my thoughts forward here, possibly to a broader audience that might benefit. With whatever caveats you want to include, any thoughts on suitability or otherwise of prophylactic L-arginine for CLL patients?

I think all ideas like this need to be vetted by CLL specialists. Perhaps this could be posed to some.... In the meantime, it is a question you would need to ask your own CLL doc.
