I just wanted to check my memory. I believe the medical recommendation is to leave 2 weeks between the COVID vaccination and IVIG infusion. Is that correct?

Covid Vaccination and IVIG
Yes 😊
No, according to Dr Furman, who says timing doesn't matter. According to the information insert provided with the IgG, timing does matter with live vaccinations, but that's of course not relevant to us.

Every expert on TV plus some local doctors said 2 weeks for any infusions. Experts seems to disagree on lots of things lately. Frustrating. My friend had to wait till J&J shot available cuz she gets infusions and they couldn't schedule the 2 shot vaccine. She could have gotten the vaccine in January but the 2 week issue messed it up for her. She just got vaccinated last week.

We live in a world of unknowns now!
Thanks to the Related Posts section, here's the post where Dr Furman's advice and that of the CDC is quoted: healthunlocked.com/cllsuppo...
As I said, there's no need to make any changes, but if you can do so, then you might potentially benefit if the above experts are wrong. I suspect the expert advice also includes a consideration of the higher risk of infection associated with delaying either a vaccination or IgG infusion.

I am not scheduled to have the vaccination till the 2nd May, so as my IVIG is this Saturday (17th), I am going to delay till 12 weeks from 1st jab i.e the 2nd May.
I had my IVIG a day before my vaccinations. I had no problem with this. I had no symptoms from the vaccine. Stay safe, Anna
