A month ago I wrote, because a small node had grown out from under my jaw. I did an ultrasound and they found a 4X3 millimeter node. Do not call my hematologist because I have a consultation in two weeks. I took antibiotics and I have not left. I had fungus in my mouth that I'm treating. The node has no longer grown, but continues in the same place.
Do you think it could be the Ricthert?

If you have worsening CLL like symptoms, fatigue, fever, etc. you may want to consult with your doctor's staff by phone to see if they want to move your appointment earlier, or seek help at an Emergency Room (USA name) or A&E (UK term) to diagnose the cause of your node.

I have a consultation in two weeks with my hematologist. I spoke to my hematologist from Spain who was treating me previously on the phone and he said that the lymph nodes below the jaws are not important. Also talk to people who have relapsed with diffuse B lymphoma and they say that the nodes grow very fast and mine don't. That is why I do not understand. I think it is a cancer node, but I don't know if it is because of the breasts, my Leukemia or my lymphoma. I feel good, it is what I do not understand.

Len is right and I can imagine your consult with your doctor can’t come fast enough. It’s awful to feel worry like this. What does sound promising is the very small size of this node which hasn’t grown over a month. Plus you’ve needed treatment for fungus in your mouth which could explain it.

My hematologist said the same to me about the lymph below the jaw. Dismissed it as not being important. The lumps do bother and concern me though.

Any chance they can bump you up sooner than 2 weeks? Given your history there should be a sense of urgency. Maybe if someone cancels they could call you immediately?
I have Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. I only have the ganglion under the small jaw but they have not come out anymore for the rest of the body. My analyzes go well. I could call hematology, I don't know if the situation would change. Leukemia doctors are not concerned but the lymphoma that is difficult to take into remission.

I really have no idea how to qualify a node being abnormal. If I were in your shoes I would see if the 2 week wait could be shortened.
Usually my node pain is more of dull aches. Maybe others can relate to painful to touch.
The pain is as if someone is squeezing the node and that node is pressing. I had that feeling when I was diagnosed with Leukemia. I was now in remission from Leukemia. Anyway, my leukemia and treatment was for swollen glands. I got to have nodes like oranges on my neck.
The primary purpose of lymph nodes is to provide a site where the bugs causing infections are analysed by our lymphocytes to find a way to make antibodies (also called immunoglobulins) to fight them. That process results in specially selected B-lymphocytes that are able to make antibodies against the infection being encouraged to multiply, so the node grows in size to hold the newly made lymphocytes. This is why we get swollen glands or nodes when we have a cold and yes they hurt if you press on them. (A ganglion is a nerve cluster, which is totally different). After the infection has been cleared, the node gradually shrinks back to its normal size. This is why Newdawn said "Plus you’ve needed treatment for fungus in your mouth which could explain it."

The relevant guideline for starting CLL treatment is nodes growing to 100mm in the longest dimension. Under 10mm is generally not considered a matter of concern, but you are wise to have yours checked out by your specialist. If it begins to grow again, then ask to see your doctor before your appointment.

It is that I have a consultation on the 12th and in a month and a half it has not changed in size and it is the same. Hospitals are full of Coronavirus problems and doctors do not want or pour it unless it is an emergency. They are announcing chemotherapy treatments in Europe for the Virus. They only treat acute leukemias. I still treat myself for fungi and it grew from a drop in defenses. If it is from Leukemia I stay calm because I know it can be controlled. What really scares me is a relapse of aggressive lymphoma. Talk to people who have relapsed lymphoma and they say it grows very fast. My pain is like I have a finger pressing on my node.
Richter's nodes do grow very fast, which is why I said you should see your doctor before your appointment if that node begins to grow again. It's good news that it hasn't changed. Swollen nodes due to infections are painful if you press on them.
In a month and a half it did not grow and stayed the same size. I pray that it is only an infection or Leukemia. I used to take Ibrutinib before. After RCHOP I went into remission and they told me I didn't have to take it. I always look at my neck, armpits and groin and I do not have any node, only the one below the neck.

I am also being treated for fungal in my throat. The same node was bothering me. The fungus is just about cleared up, but I know how you feel about someone pressing on it. It is slowly starting to calm down as the fungus gets resolved. I have CLL. Take care, also that it has not grown sounds very positive to me. I actually think I had the fungus for quite a while before getting really bad. I've also have some teeth problems in the same area.

Yes sounds to me like the same place.
I had a similar node in the same place that was removed. Turns out it only contained regular CLL cells. Concern for the big "R" was there prior to the surgery, but much relief came with the lab report. I hope yours is the same.

I guess they will do it to me too. On the one hand I am calm because it has not grown anymore and it only hurts when I touch it but on the other hand I am afraid that it may be the Ricthert that is returning. If it is Leukemia I am not concerned because it can be treated.

Could the enlarged lymph node be a reaction to the fungal infection in your mouth? Often these neck nodes react by enlarging as a way to control colds and mouth growths. Let us know what your doctor says.
