I bought a CPAP ozone cleaning machine. I used this machine Saturday to clean cpap. Shortly after i woke up on sunday i notice that the right side of my face below my ear was swollen. anybody know if this could have been from the ozone?
Thank you for any info you might have on this.

How long after cleaning your CPAP machine did you use it? I would think that any remaining ozone after cleaning would fairly quickly disappear.

Great question.
I am new to my CPAP machine and love it. Unfortunately I know nothing about ozone cleaning, but I am interested in the best way to clean the equipment. The pandemic has turned me into a germ-a-phoebe. Looking forward to what other people have to say.
I have been using a Soclean for about 5 years. Once the machine is done cleaning you need to take the mask out and run the machine for 10 min. This allows the ozone to vacate the hose and mask.
I've had a CPAP for about 7 years (new one when it hit 5 years); purchased a Soclean a little over a year ago - spending that much on something I didn't absolutely have to was very uncharacteristic of me - but it was money well spent. I install a new filter every 6 months as recommended,
