Information from your Hospital Trust on Coronavirus and action to be taken if you feel unwell.

A question for those members in the UK. I have not heard anything from my Haematologist/Hospital Trust on what we should do if we suspect that we might have the Coronavirus. Have others heard from their Trust/Haematologist? For example, do we call 111 or our treatment cancer unit.

I do think, given our compromise immune systems, that we should make contact with the unit, but have they received any instructions on how we should proceed!

I don't think it would be any different to any other report of temperature or concern to your team. Are you thinking that they should have set up a special helpline or something?

No, just thinking that they may have had some special advice to offer us.

I just contacted my consultant team to ask this question. Hopefully I will get a reply soon.

I am advised by my consultant team that I need to contact 111 for advice and actions. Obviously I would let the team know in any case after talking to 111
