I've been on Ibrutinib for 3 months and I've been losing weight.

Just wondering if anyone else has been affected. I see my doctor on the 14th...

Yes, I lost weight too but I think we are the unusual ones. I am not complaining but my doctors are telling me to hold the line.

I lost almost 20 lbs in first 5 months now 9 months in gained it back plus another 15 wish I was still losing a little darn

I also lost weight some time after starting Ibrutinb - in kilos, it was from 65 kg to 41 kg.

In woman speak that was down 4 or 5 dress sizes. 😒

Not sure if it was the drug or coincidence.

It seems more unusual to lose weight on Ibrutinib. I’m fighting a hard battle to stop a weekly increase! 😳

I lost weight on Ibrutinib. At 3 yrs in, this seems to have stopped and and trying to put on weight but seem to have levelled off still very thin.

I lost weight on Ibrutinib but believe it was due to extreme diarrhea. Since doctor reduced dosage, diarrhea is almost completely gone and have gained just a little bit back.

Hi Yes I lost weight right away after starting Ibrutinib I was just thinking my huge nodes in my abdomen were shrinking

and that was causing the weight loss

At one point they lowered my dosage due to constant multiple mouth sores. That decreased the mouth sores and made eating better for me. I then stopped loosing weight but really don’t gain

So .... I think it’s Ibrutinib.

Like BeckyLUSA, I also lost weight due to tummy distress caused by the Ibrutinib.

I have been on ibrutinib for 14 months with no effect on my weight

I gained weight and experienced extreme swelling of my feet and ankles. Been off Ibrutnib since August 2019, and at this point diligently trying to loose the weight.
