I booked an appointment at MD Andersen for my husband and they ask my husband to bring the pathology materials (slides and parafin blocks). But the hospital does not give them to us.
That means we have to take all the tests again at Md Anderson? seem likely.

the hospital may have a policy that prevents them from handing over clinical material to the patient as there are strict regulations regarding packaging and transport. Please explain the situation to MDA and ask them to ask for the blocks and slides.
If they were done a few months ago it may be better to have them repeated anyway but MDA will know best.
You may want to instruct your current hospital to send a slice of the block to MDAnderson, after you remind them that under HIPPA rules your health records and samples are your property, not theirs.
You will likely need to sign a number of documents and get the name and specific address for the MDA pathologist
since your from an asian country per your first post-rules covering usa hospitals and doctors would not appy. However have you actually requested these records from the hospitals/doctors. In usa you also have to go thru requesting procedures.
