My relative has not been doing well. His redblood cells are good quality, but much too few. His blood proteins are high. He has little CLL In his blood marrow. He has had many transfusions, a number of different treatments, immune support, anti cancer, etc. he thinks highly of his doctor. However even he is puzzled and is encouraging him to get another opinion. My question is is anyone aware of researchers working on this sort of problem? Or suggestions for avenues to explore. Thank you, Odale

Second opinion suggestions
Hi Odale. Is your relative seeing an actual CLL specialist? If not, that would be an important step forward. CLL specialists are found in larger centres, usually connected to research and clinical trials as well as treatment. Do you know what specific CLL treatments your relative has had up to this point? Good luck!
Odale, i have read your past posts and know you have been given the following place to get names of Specialists, but I am not sure where you are in the world. This may not help you, but, here it is again. cllsociety.org/toolbox/cll-...
And, if you will click or your name/icon to go to your profile page, you will find the previous post that others replied to in regard to suggestions for a 2nd opinion.
I hope your CLL friend/relative will soon choose to see someone to get the situation diagnosed and treated.
