I have a great Oncologist I am seeing, now that I have been diagnosed with CLL. Any tips on finding a knowledgeable Primary Care or General Practitioner? My regular doctor does not seem to have empathy or understanding to what CLL is.

I asked my local friends and family for recommendations. Also your oncologist may have a GP he/she likes to deal with. 💕
Great question. Finding a great Primary Doc who understands the risks of infections, optimizing vaccine protection against Pneumonia, Influenza and Shingles, how to decrease the risk for Co-morbidities and has great referrals to other specialists that can optimize your surveillance to find secondary cancers so they will be found early is key. All the best, I’m still looking. At least I found an ENT who understands CLL.
