I had another CLL blood test and met with my oncology PA today. WBC was down again. Last month it was 92 and now is 77. I will have another test in a month. My counts have been coming down since about two months after I started Brukinsa treatment! It seems to be working very well.

Another good report on my decreasing white blood count!
Great news Tajie. Brukinsa and Calquence are amazing drugs. If you are just starting your first treatment for cll at age 82, brukinsa might be the only cll med you ever need. There are people more than ten years out now on ibrutinib now who have not had their cll progress.
Brukinsa may well turn out to be even more effective than Ibrutinib, with less side effects. It will probably not be too long before your lymphocytes false into normal range. Continued good fortune to you.
Hi Tajie,
Congratulations on your success with zanubrutinib / Brukinsa.
A small suggestion, we often share, is to track the two major components of your WBC separately.
It is important to watch your ANC / Neut# to make certain it does not go low (below 1.0 or 0.5) , while the ALC / Lymph# (now probably around 70 to 75) is the majority of the WBC number.
Your doctor or PA are probably doing that for you, but it is part of our learning curve for CLL.

White Blood Cell Differential (Diff) Test Normal Range Values
Neuts.# (ANC) Absolute Neutrophil Count 1.70-7.00 x 109/L
Lymphs.# (ALC) Absolute Lymphocyte Count 1.00-4.80 x 109/L
Monos.# Number of Monocytes 0.30-0.90 x 109/L
Eos.# Number of Eosinophils 0.05-0.50 x 109/L
Baso.# Number of Basophils 0.00-0.30 x 109/L
