Lump in my left armpit

Hello everyone. I am here thinking I might get some answers to my questions and worries. Few days ago I felt pain in my armpit. Days after that I noticed a lump in my armpit so I went to see my doctor and she told me it's an infection due to shaving so she made me stop shaving. She prescribed me a 3 day antibiotics and a mefenamic acid. I have finished the courses but still my nodes are a little swollen and painful so I decided to see another doctor. Same diagnosis "infection". She prescribed me clindamycin and a painkiller. The pain is gone and my lymp node is shrink but I still can feel it. It is soft and moveable. Do you think I need to go back to the doctor? I am so worried about it. Please help me what to do.

May, do you have a diagnosis of CLL? Discussions about lymph nodes on this site are related to CLL, a blood cancer. If your issue was diagnosed as being caused by an infection, and you feel that the infection has not fully cleared up, then, yes, see your doctor. The node may just need a little more time, but your doctor is the best person to advise you. Try to not keep feeling it. That can irritate it while it is healing. I know how easy it is to think the worst when something related to our health is not normal. Sometimes an appointment with our doctor is good, just because it gives us peace of mind.

No. I didnt have those. Yes, I always keep feeling it and it makes me worried. I will try not to touch it that much and will give a week before I'll go back to my doctor. Thank you for your fast reply
