BRUISING FROM IMBRUVICA

Has anyone on the drug imbruvica experienced many bruises....I have mostly on my thighs and legs..it does not hurt...but comes and goes and is unattractive.I usually say ..'no one has beaten me up"...it is a side effect of the drug....Just wanted to share.

I have been in Ibrutinib for 6 weeks and I am covered in bruises, mainly on my legs. Apparently a very common side effect😩

Yes...mine did not start after being on it for 10 months..hate it...and be careful not to bump yourself....even worse bruising

My hands and arms are always black and blue. Even before I started Imbruvica.

My arms are rarely without one or more healing bruises. I am active and unlikely to change my ways including scrapes and bumps. My oncologist said my platelets are not only low (120-143) but they are poor quality platelets. I have been on Ibrutinib for a year and a half and just take the bad with the good.

I wake up with bruises on my arms and I absolutely hate them!!

I apply cold impress on them.

I find the more I am careful the more I bump into things.

Last summer I fell off a boat and was covered in them!
