How quickly do swollen lymph nodes respond to BR?

What are your experiences in hair loss?

Same re: side effects?

I will be starting treatment soon. Thanks.

I had 6 rounds that ended this past March and it wasn't too bad for me. I don't have any kids and have a wonderful hubby who already did a lot around the house because of another chronic illness I have, so I was able to not do much at all for a few days. I think not doing anything for a few days really helped me.

My lymph nodes shrank pretty quickly, but I can't remember if they shrank so much that you couldn't see them after the first or second round. They was definitely a huge difference after the second. I had really large lymph nodes under my arms so I could see that they were much smaller. They were still a little oversized after the second round, but not so much that you could see them.

My hair got thin, but it wasn't as noticeable because my hair is somewhat curly. As long as I didn't comb it, it still looked ok.

I had a slight bit of nausea in the beginning until I figured out what to eat. I only ate things that I really liked for a few days even if they weren't good for me. Also, if you even think you might get nauseous take your nausea meds. It's easier to prevent nausea than get rid of it.

I lost a lot of weight because I didn't have much of an appetite. This could be a good thing for some people, like me!

I had an allergic reaction to the bendamustine, but it was just a rash after about two weeks and a Dosepak took care of it. I have a lot of allergies so I was nervous about the Rituxan, but that went well. Because of my allergies they split my rituxan over the two days, so that might have helped too.

I was fatigued, but I also get bad fatigue from my other chronic illness. I looked forward to the allergic reaction because the steroids gave me energy!

I had some brain fog, but again I also get brain fog from my other chronic illness so I don't know which one caused it. It was worse than usual though.
