help with finding old posts and messages

Help. I can never find my old posts or messages. I want to  update but where are they? What should I be doing. I tried to query this my writing email to [e-mail]. But that was rejected by my two email accounts. 

Advice appreciated.

Hi Romarin,

You can find all your past posts and replies by simply clicking on your username and then clicking on the Post or Reply tab.

but if I click on user name on the top menu there is no post or reply option....there is news feed which gets me there eventually I discover...if I go to green write a post it is a new start...I am sure I am being thick...
