I have been taking Imbruvica for 14 months and now my white count is normal. Have not heard that word in a long time. So happy😄

Thanks for feeding back to the community about Imbruvica/Ibrutinib.

Good news. I'm really pleased for you. Have you experienced any side effects during the past months?

Great news. DO please tell us more. Are you on a trial - and what about side effects?

Thanks and very good wishes.

As far as I know it's not a trial. Just some fatigue, otherwise, feel pretty good!

Great news! I have been on Imbruvica for 3 months and WBC has fallen from 98k to 55k.

Wonderful news. My husband has been on for about 18 months or so. His WBC has dropped to about 20. The one count I worry about is his %lymphs as it is still at 71%, it has fallen from 99%. Quality of life is much better. I hope this is also true for you. Muscle weakness is his main issue. I truly believe that Imbruvica has prolonged his life but have a feeling in the future he will be on another "new" breakthrough treatment. I must say that 2015 was, all in all, a very positive year for you and my husband.

Look at his ALC, a part of the WBC - the absolute, not the %.Percents will bounce around, but all of the numbers given as Percents have to add up to 100, so if one goes up another will go down. The absolute numbers, especially lymphocytes and neutrophils tell you more.

Thanks so much for your reply. My husband does receive IVIG monthly for the last 3-1/2 years. He is 68 and other than the CLL and a few squamous skin cancers removed, he has no other health issues. I will get his past blood work results out and calculate the ALC. We are waiting for his appointment with a neurologist in regards to his muscle weakness in his legs and arms. Thanks again for your reply and info.
