Hi all,

I recently celebrated my 50th birthday then went in for my bloods (I gave it a week)

Roughly two years ago I was tested and my lymphocyte count had doubled to just under 12. I was a little concerned and expecting my recent test to be in the 20's.

My GP called and said they had no gone up much at all and were 14 last week.

I followed the likes of Neil and the many others on this site. Listened to my haematologist. Made a plan of action.

Was it the Bio-Curcumin I started taking two years ago ?

The fact I finally got back to fitness (steady state cardio / weights) over the last 2 years ? The clean diet ?

One thing I learnt for myself that being passive / sendentary was not required for me and at my stage (I realise this could be much different later on) . I had to really convince myself of this. Getting fit hurts.

Keep up the great work CLL Community.

Trav

Gosh I am tickled pink you got you some good news. I have not checked any of your prior post. Have you done any sort of treatment or are you still in that "watch and wait" mode? It seems like I did that mode for a very long time before getting my first chemo.

Thank you all for your good wishes. Chuck, I have done no treatment for CLL but I did have a rare cancer (Synovial Sarcoma Stage 1) in my hand around 4 years ago which required surgery (lost finger) and radiotherapy.

I have found the treadmill a great way to deal with my tension. I try to release my fear / anxiety. I fall asleep if I meditate !

My heart goes out to everyone on this forum and anyone touched by cancer.
