I've been told of a new drug from the states that supports your adrenal function ( declines with age) and really helps with fatigue and low mood ...... Anyone heard of it? / taking it ? 😃
Thanks
Suzie

If as iodine in it ad give it a mis .. as to much can be toxic ..
D3NIS,
Too much water is toxic, but if you gave that a miss you'd be dead within days. Not enough iodine during pregnancy can have shocking effects on foetal brain development:

Iodine is also an essential element for proper thyroid function - Iodine Deficiency Disorder
Iodine is needed by the thyroid gland to manufacture thyroid hormones."

Chlorine is a deadly gas and sodium and potassium are flammable metals. If you avoided them you'd also be dead, because you need all three in the right concentrations to live. If you look at a standard printout of blood biochemistry results you'd find right at the top:
Sodium (135 to 145 mmol/L)
Potassium (3.5 to 5.5 mmol/L
Chloride (95 to 110mmol/L)
