I was contacted by Imperial College to participate in the Melody trial to determine what levels of anti-body might exist following various medication regimes and courses of vaccination. Did my test today and just for general information - it was totally negative = no anti-bodies at all. I'm signed up now for my 5th vaccine and will see what happens (last booster almost 6 months ago). I do wear a mask in crowded situations and shops, otherwise no specific precautions taken.

Covid anti-body study
Hi I tested negative after 4th vaccine and have not been tested since. I have had my 5th vaccine. I am on ibrutinib and research is showing this is common for those taking ibrutinib.Ann
How did you get onto the trial? I looked at their website and the trial was not yet open for blood cancers.
I received an invitation through the post - not sure why - presumed it was because I was registered as "Highly vulnerable". They asked all the questions about CLL treatment, when started, what stage I was at, etc. So sounded like they intended to recruit me.
I'm in the same boat. Little antibodies after Spike; no protection with Chain test. Got immunoglobulins tested- low. Asked doc about 5th VAX. He said won't do anything, so finally got Evusheld. I think this might be the way to go every 6 months, plus every VAX laid me up for 2 days.
FDA just acknowledged best to get Evusheld every 6 months but what does it mean for the Vax for us immunocompromised. At the same time, Evusheld supply is limited as Feds bought only 1.7m doses, & has no $ for COVID at this time.
An update. Finally tested positive for Covid on Dec 20th and started Paxlovid on the 22nd. Today, the 29th tested negative. Overall very mild effects, hardly a cold. So either the vaccinations did gave some lasting effect or Paxlovid saved the day. Out into the wide world again today.
