Friends
Our very thin CLL Society team (me, my wife, and a wonderful part time RN) is busy preparing for the ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology) 2015 Annual meeting which starts at the end of this week in Chicago, but we still found time to bring three diverse and instructive new topics to our website cllsociety.org for this week.
Today, we posted Dr. Adrian Wiestner's (the leading CLL researcher at the NIH) thoughtful and well-considered interview from ASH (American Society of Hematology) 2014 on what is known and unknown about novel therapies. You can find that under the convention coverage section of the website.
Expect more video interviews and commentaries from ASH 2014 over the next several weeks.
If you want a preview of the other topics to be posted later this week, or just want to read my meandering and worries about how I deal (or don’t deal) with my lingering head cold, please check out today’s blog post: bkoffman.blogspot.com
Does everybody with CLL worry when they get a simple cold that it will devolve into a fulminant pneumonia? I admit I do.
Stay strong.
We are all in this together.
