I took part last year and raised over £700 for CLLSA. That's in my 68th year and the 18th year since CLL diagnosis.
This year I hope to do it again - but only finish treatment for a secondary cancer on 5th June - but here is hoping.
Anyone want to join me ?? For details and an entry form please contact derek.mcglashan@cllsuport.org.uk
We have 18 places half of which are now gone - so if you are joining me - be quick. Bonus for entering is you get a super CLLSA T shirt. You don't have to run it, I jogger'walked last year but walking was far more than jogging.'
Take care hope to see some of you at Cambridge or in Glasgow later this year.

I would love to do it but unfortunately I now have sciatica preventing me from training. I have completed the Great South Run (10 miles) 6 times (the last 2 times for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research) until 2012 when the sciatica struck. I Iived in London until 2010 and but for the CLL would still be there.
I too would love to do this. I did the Manchester 10K yesterday for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research ( great day but picking the hottest day of the year was not helpful).
I am not sure yet however if I can make that date. If I can I will be back in touch.
What's the exact date and where does it start from.
Would love to see you there.. Race starts at 09.35 outside The Guards & Calvery Club ,Picadilly. Email me on derek.mcglashan@cllsupport.org.uk if you need a registration form and I will send to you for completion.
