Does anyone have experience with Growth Hormone Treatment for their child with A.I.H whilst still taking steroids ( Budesonide CR capsules )

My daughter Olivia is 10yrs old and was diagnosed with A.I.H just over 12 mths ago. She has been on steroids ever since, along with a host of other medications. Because of the steroids she has not had any growth in height at all and yet is progressing rapidly in puberty. The Drs at the hospital ( ALDER HEY in Liverpool ) have now stated they need to intervene and give her Growth Hormone Treatment before its too late. I would like to know if anyone has any experience with Growth Hormone treatment - especially would it work even though she is still on the steroids?
