Has anyone weaned before 6 months post kasai surgery? My baby is 4 months old and doing well. He is showing signs that I could start weaning him but because of his surgery I’m not sure if I should wean early or not?
Anyone got any advice? Or weaned their babies early post kasai?
Hi there, I would suggest having a chat with your medical team about this particularly a dietician as they will be able to advise you about this as each liver child is different in terms of their liver health. 20 days post kasai liver biopsy report
My baby was diagnosed with biliary atresia at 6 weeks got a Kasai at 7weeks, it has been such a scarey and emotional journey.
Looking for positive outcome stories after Kasai procedure.
