Big belly post kasai

Hi,my 8month post kasai baby have Big belly , he have enlarged spleen. Is it normal to have Big belly?

Yes my baby was the same. He’s 11 months old and still has a pot belly. I think it’s very normal for them when they have a slightly bigger spleen. Also BA babies do have pot bellies. Aslong as it’s not ascites.

Such a great relief, thank u so much dear. Actually his hands n legs r tiny n belly looks huge.thts y I'm concerned.n also slow growth. His labs r okay but jaundice slight ,his GI said let's wait one more month to clear . Hoping for best,praying for all BA babies

My son had his Kasai at 2 weeks old. He is currently 8.5 years old and still has a bit of a pot belly . Not as dramatic looking when he was so tiny but it’s still there. 🙂
