2 months after Kasai.... Total bilirubin is 2...direct bilirubin is 0.8... ggt is 175...alt is 198 and ast is 132...little pale stool

Please please please please please tell me what about my son's operation.. Is it ok or not

Hi, I reckon your childs labs have become better over time? They should be downward trending and the bili levels are quite good for 2 months post op. I would be concerned about pale stools however. Are they always pale or just of & on. Is your child gaining weight?

All this combined , should give you an idea of the success of the procedure. I would speak to her GI and talk about it, especially the pale stools. All the best!

Stool is pale with lactose free milk,yellow with breast milk and brown yellow with Monogen milk I don't know why...

His blood tests is better than pre operation but we made it one time only and the second time will be after month

He gain weight slowly ..

Trust me ur results look good after horrible multiple surgeries for my son his bili levels are still 12 direct and 16 total. Just keep the faith and everything will be fine. Sending prayers

So what about pale stool....only yellow brown on Monogen or Pregestimil milk....on free lactose milk becomes pale pale or completely white....

If the kasai works as far as i know the stool should have color yellow , brown , green is good, black or red stool call the doctor, pale like clay or white probably kasaii might not be working as expected
