Generally Cholangitis incidence is less after one year but it can still occur. One can stop prophylactic antibiotics and observe carefully.
My 1.1yr old son also had kasai at 2months. Since his T. bilirubin jumped from 4 to 9.5. Doctor advised to stop prophylactic antibiotics and gave Ofloxacin for a week. Looks its low grade Cholangiti.. Hoping to settle with this..
