Connecting with nature

Hi everyone! This week has been Mental Health Awareness week in the UK and the theme this year is "Nature". There’s a lot of good research to support the role nature can play in protecting and supporting our wellbeing.

What are some of the ways you connect with nature? Have you noticed any impact of nature on your own wellbeing?

I tried bringing nature to me earlier in the year buy getting a house plant. Admittedly it didn't survive very long in my care, but I'm hoping to give it another go.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this topic :-)

I’m lucky enough to live very close to the sea & my happy place is on the beach! No matter the season or the weather I just love walking along the beach & smelling the fresh sea air.

So very therapeutic😀

I love walking through the park and hearing the birds tweeting. Try again with a houseplant Tiffany, there are loads that are virtually impossible to kill 😊xx

I love going on walks with my dog, Archie. He's good company and there's nothing more refreshing and destressing than a walk through nature!
