Today is the start of National Inclusion Week, an awareness week designed to help people and employers support their staff in the workplace.
In May we published the My Visible Difference report which showed us that many people with a visible difference feel excluded. Over a third (34%) who self-identified as having a visible difference said that their employer has not been effective in preventing discrimination against them in the workplace. And a quarter of people said they had been stared at in work because of their visible difference.
Here are ‘4 Ways Your Employer Can Help People With A Visible Difference’.
