Unbelievable update!

Hi all,

Just had some incredible news. My family know, my wife knows (she was first), and you're up high on the list.

The job we thought had been blown, and potentially discriminated against.

Nope.

Due to a miscommunication, that was so, but it has come to me.

I GOT IT!!!!!

There was me worried about my looks, and putting myself through my own self imposed stress.

I just didn't know, BUT I GOT IT!!

I had to reach what was nearly my lowest ebb to get there, but am now soaring like a David Gilmour solo.

I'm sorry to those who sent a message of support I couldn't reply to (too furious!), but this one was for you, and all of you.

You think your visual difference means you can't get the job?, Turns out you can. It can be hell. Just been there. But yeah, you want it? Go get it. Let nothing stop you.

I'm deeply shocked.

I have some great Channel islands beer for tonight, and some great Pink Floyd on (now).

I cannot be fussed to cook. Tonight is a Pot Noddle. Whatever.

Tonight will be a good one.

Mostly though, big thank you to this community, who inspired me then, and do so every day. Without it, not sure how I'd keep flying straight and level.

As I my custom, I have some music playing, and yes, its Pink Floyd.

Its a version of a tune called "Careful with that axe, Eugene" from the Ummagumma album.

It has one line in it.

Ok, two.

"Careful with that axe , Eugene!"

"arrrggggggghhhhhhhhh".

I will let you listen on YouTube.

Hopefully this will be my bosses reaction when I leave! I don't wish them ill whatsoever, but feel so under appreciated, gotta get out.

High hopes is inscribed on the inside of my wedding ring because of the lyric "with friends surrounding... the water flowing. the endless river ... for ever and ever"
