Mental Health and Body Image

DolaChangingFacesUK profile image

It’s Mental Health Awareness Week and the focus this year is on body image – how we think and feel about our bodies. According to the Mental Health Foundation, one in three adults have felt so stressed by body image and appearance that they felt overwhelmed or unable to cope. The Foundation has produced some publications to help with managing mental health which can be accessed at mentalhealth.org.uk/publica.... Here in our community we are aware of what it feels like to be on the margins of society because of stress around appearance. So, what better time to reach out and support one another? Are you struggling to cope? Feeling stressed? Let's share and care.

Cyberhugs to you all,
