Open Heart Surgery Ahead…
Born with a bicuspid valve, I guessed this day was coming…just not so soon! I will be 56 when they open my chest on August 15th. Critical illness insurance refusal
I have paid for a policy for 15 years and after my open
heart
surgery
made my claim, only for Legal and General to say I didn’t have the ‘right kind of
heart
surgery
’. I want to appeal or maybe even get legal advice, but if anyone has any tips/advice/recommendations I’m all ears!

Thank you all so much for your good wishes before my mitral valve surgery , they certainly put me in a positive mindset beforehand 😊 As many people have said the nurses and people caring for you are truly amazing 🤍 I can’t quite believe I’ve done it ,come out the other side and been discharged today

post open heart surgery
I had my third open
heart
surgery
two weeks ago. I have noticed positive change to my health already but I have also noticed lack of interest and concentration. I have brain fog, forgetting to do things or hold a conversation for a significant period of time. Has anyone else experienced this?
