Update omeprazole versus Famotodine
But being on
calcichew
D3 is helping the bones...I hope. Maybe I can go down to 10mg a day of omeprazole which I was on a few months ago before mtx gave me gastritis.

Multi vitamins minus calcium and vitamin D
But she said I should get multivitamins but minus vitamin D and Calcium as I'm already on
calcichew
D3 twice a day. Looked on line but cannot find any without these. Has anyone multi vitamins without calcium and vitamin D3?

A newbie question about vitamin D3
After my DEXA scan, my old GP put me on Alendronic acid and
Calcichew
D3 Forte. She told me to stop taking the Vit D which was 25 micrograms. The
Calcichew
has 10 micrograms of D3. So I’ve been on less D3 than I was before.

Full thyroidectomy
Was given
Calcichew
to take three times a day so 3000mg. 3 days after my surgery my right arm completely lost muscle movement and had tingling sensations on my jaw line & in my limbs. I was so scared that I had a stroke the feeling was scary.

taking tablets
I also take an extra vit D3 tablet 1000 IU every other day because I felt the
calcichew
content wasn’t enough. Because of the possibility of calcium deposits I believe vitamin K2 puts the calcium into the bone and am considering taking this.

9 years and counting with PMR!
I have Alendronic acid weekly, folic acid weekly,
Calcichew
daily and I am also on Gabapentin, Etodolac and Atorvastatin daily. Unfortunately I had COVID in March 2020 and I was in ICU on a ventilator.

Vitamin D dosage
I have read them all very carefully and have decided to stick with the dose in my 2
Calcichew
per day. I had Covid in August, felt ill, but not terrible for 2 days then recovered, without any antiviral treatment although I was due to have an infusion on day 3. By then my symptoms had almost gone.

Vitamin D supplement
At present I just have the vit D in
Calcichew
- 10 micrograms , and thats when I remember to take it!. My question is how much should I take to avoid virus infections during the winter, and, as PMR is an autoimmune disease, will it help or make my symptoms worse.

Calcium products and calcification of coronary artery,
I had been on
Calcichew
daily for over 10 years prior to the stent for osteopenia and am now reluctent to take it. Asked a few GOs and some told me to ask a cardiologist so it appears they are not sure. Anyone any thoughts on this please as I rarely take this now.

calcichew
, as the former gave me stomach pains. This illness is ruining my life, i feel so down about everything, its all i think about every day and how i can help myself to get better.

Down to 10mg Pred instantly!
Also told me to come off the
Calcichew
as I take Vitamin D high strength. The two could affect my heart. Just need the wise people here to confirm they agree with her, but there was no nonsense and I was out of her rooms in ten minutes!

New to PMR & Predisnolone
I have also been prescribed Alendronic Acid, Lansoprazole &
Calcichew
+D3. This seems a lot of meds but hoping it works, I am so fed up with being in pain.

Taking B supplements when already on B12 injections
I also have Hashimoto's and take 150mcg Levothyroxine and

3 times a day as prescribed by the Haematologist. I now also have it on my medical records that I refuse to be tested for B12 now I am on injections for my Pernicious Anaemia. I have been on the B12 injections since 2012.
